Evergreen Explorations is the kind of brand that reminds you why storytelling through design matters. Founded by Sarah, the vision was clear from the start: a brand that captures the feeling of stepping into the woods, compass in hand, with a journal tucked under your arm. Not just outdoor-adjacent — genuinely alive with the spirit of exploration.

Sarah didn't want a generic nature brand with a pine tree slapped on a logo and called a day. She wanted something that felt like it had a story behind it — a visual world that people could feel connected to, the way you feel connected to a well-worn trail or a dog-eared field guide. The challenge was translating that specificity of feeling into a brand system that was cohesive, memorable, and ownable.
The brand needed to evoke nostalgia and warmth without feeling dated, and adventure without feeling aggressive — a balance that takes real intentionality to pull off.

The identity leans entirely into the hand-drawn — a warm, organic logo and an illustration system built around elements that feel like they were sketched in a nature journal: pine trees, compasses, and open pages. Each element adds a layer to the story, making the brand feel personal and lived-in rather than polished and distant.
The palette of forest greens, soft neutrals, and warm parchment tones grounds everything in the natural world without ever feeling heavy. And the textures — subtle, organic, tactile — give the whole system the feeling of something you'd find printed on quality paper at a trailhead visitor center. Approachable, nostalgic, and full of life.
